Ya know, maybe this kinda thing wouldn't happen is that store didn't try to pack 30 cubic tons of crap into a 10 cubic ton space... Seriously, could those stores crowd in ANY more shit?
Glad it wasn't your eye S-mart. in a year you won't even see the scar...

OUCH! That sucks dude!
Andy's right though. It's a damn good thing it wasn't your eye.
Two winters ago, I was out on the front deck shoveling snow, and when I turned to toss a scoop over the fence, I got nailed with this old swinging iron plant hook!
It hit me right below the eye, cut me, and literally pushed my lower eyelid under my eye ball!
The left side of my face went numb, and I freaked! Thank god the feeling came back after 15 minutes or so, but I tell ya...a couple millimeters up, and my eye would have been fuct!
Hurt like a son of a bitch!
We're quite surprised at how tiny, and unnoticeable the scar is!
What a burn! I figured I'd at least get a good scar out of it!

not too bad...a little busy. between working 2 jobs, a girlfriend, and a band, i've got a few things going on. jobs give me money, girlfriend is great, and my band is kicking ass, so i can't complain. i made a site for us if you want to check it out...it's geocities and a work in progress, but aside from those 2 things it's not so bad... http://geocities.com/amniotics

Nice scar S-mart. Glad that you didn't poke your eye out thought.
I had a head injury back in 2000 at school when I was in 8th grade. It was the end of the schoolday and I was walking down the stairs and the ceiling was literally a few inch above my head, since I was 6 ft 1 inch tall at that time. (Im 6 ft 5 now) So I jumped a step near the bottom of the stair and the top of my head hit the edge of the ceiling. I thought i was going to get a bump, not until I felt the warm, oozing blood dripping down to my forehead. I went to the nurse's office and wait there until my parents and the ambulance arrived.
Paramedic made sure I was fine, not getting dizzyness, if i knew where I was and other typical questions. I was fine, didn't suffer any side effect from the injury. I went to the hospital and had two stitches. Here the part that will make you guys cringe. The doctor suggested not to give me any local anethetic painkiller, as he said it will hurt alot more if he did inject the painkiller into the wound. So he stitched the cut. Surprisenly it actually didn't hurt, except that i could feel the skin being tighten.
As the doctor finished covering the cut up, a nurse tapped my head, right on the fricking wound! So long story short, I came home and stay home from school for two days.
